News Flash

So... I turned 35. I'm grown up. Seriously, I am; if for no other reason than my age.

But the reason I blog today is to tell you that IT IS OFFICIAL. I drink coffee now. So I'm a grown up.

(Thing number 88 on my 101 Things is now false.)

I should point out that I'd rather you just wave the coffee over my cup full of cream and sweetener, but still, I drink coffee.

Ask me something. I'm a grown up. I'm wise. Probably I'll know the answer.

Found this on the web, it looks a bit dark for me. Might taste like coffee.

the appreciation for strong coffee grows, not unlike the appreciation for fine wines (or salted watermelon, for that matter!).

try an americano - espresso and hot water - it's MUCH smoother than a regular cup 'o joe - and still a heckuvalot cheaper than a latte.

But why, o why did you break down and do it? Why did you succumb to the pressure? Life can truly be enjoying without the bitter taste of coffee. Why ruin the experience? : )
Belated happy birthday! I wish you were coming down with Shell and the gang next week. : ( We'd have lots of fun with you here. (Don't worry, we'll have fun anyway, it just would be a different kind of fun with you here!)
Love you!

Welcome to the club! The bad news is that you will now be in all new brackets on pull-down menus. Bummer!
And Doctors will start saying things like "We ought to consider getting a baseline....blahblahblah!

Did you see Kicking and Screaming with Mike Ditka telling Will Farrell to just "DRINK THE COFFEE!"
"Its what fuels the lifeblood of champions."

Great scene! Im snort-laughing now just thinking of it!

Wow - coffee is so grown up. I'm not there yet because I still think it's gross. I'm all about creamer and sugar though!

mmmmmmmmmm coffeeeee....

I equate the taste of coffee to the taste of beer- the first time you try it, you wonder why anyone ever drinks it by choice.... but then it grows on you and pretty soon you're going out of your way to go to special establishments to purchace fancy new versions.

mmm..

And happy birthday, oh wise one!

Happy B-DAY!!! Does that mean I still have 3 years until I am "officially" a grown up, cuz I want to put that off as long as possible...kid or no kid!! Yah, I tend to like my coffee like a hot milkshake! Really creamy and full of sugar! Yummy!
